I am getting ready to start my first moose shoulder mount and am a little unsure about the procedures for skinning the dewlap (skin hanging from the neck area) of the moose. After skinning/fleshing the area do you fill it with anything? If not what keeps it from drying and curling? Any help on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks.
split it,salt it,tan it. Mount it using a dowel rod,or wire, or a flex tail.
