I would like to know if I could do a neck mount by using the WASCO tape on mounting a deer.I have never mounting anything before. Will the tape get me through the mount if problems arise?Would I need other materials on shoulder mounts?

I haven't seen the WASCO tape, but It should work out fine for you.
I recommend that you do a shoulder mount instead of a neck mount, the difference in time and effort is negligible, but the results will be much more impressive if you do the shoulder. the only reason to do a neck mount is because your cape is cut too short.
Also, WASCO sells a Deer mounting kit. I think it is just what you need to get started. it contains all necessary supplies, plus written instructions to help you through.
good Luck

Oh yea where was I,lets see Adolfo, definitly get a tape its very hard to read instructions and try to mount a deer.Watching some one step by step will be much easier. When I mounted my first buck I used WASCOS deer mounting tape and kit.The only real problem I had was the distance between the eye orbit and the skull plate 3 inches it needed to be about 1&3/4,I had to cut a little off the forms forehead. Its little things like this that videos leave out.Plus if you are ever planning on doing other deer I would recomend you get a pair of Jonas ear openers. They will save you from cussing trying to turn your ears by hand.ALL in all the WASCO tape is probably one of the best.Dont expect blue ribbon results from your first mount ,but try for it..
