Pickling a seal skin

I am trying to pickle a seal skin but have no idea what the proper chemicals are, can anybody help me?

Make sure it is fleshed thoroughly, basically salt for 4-5 days like any other hide, check for wetness and resalt as needed during the 4-5 days. Then i would suggest getting through Van Dyke's pickling crystal and safety acid. It comes with directions, they have diffrent tanning oils also.

After tanning it you might want to try regular clorine bleach on the head area. It helps remove some of those stains from that pretty white fur caused by the baseball bats.....
