Can someone please explain how they turn the nose and more importantly the cartilage/septum? Do you turn the nose but leave the cartilage intact or do you actualy skin the cartliage/septum out?

Confused, Use a scapel to split the septum cartilage (makes it easier to handle). Then separate it from the nose skin using your knife. Careful not to go beyond the black skin. It's easy to poke a hole, so go slow. Once the cartilage starts to separate, you'll see where to cut the connecting tissue. It'll come off, just keep the knife blade angled toward the cartilage in case you get carried away, you won't cut the nose skin.

Thanx pacemakr, The only one that I have ever done was on my antelope 4 years ago and I had a freind talk me through it. I've since moved and had kind of forgoton the details on the nose. Everthing else seemed to make sense as I was doing it again.
