Flocking gun

Submitted by Kevin E. on 9/15/00. ( kjelfrink@ldd.net ) 209.248.17.100

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, using a flocking gun to
put velvet back on antlers? I don't want to invest in a gun, fiber,
and glue if the consensus is that it will look like crud. I don't
think I have a need for one for anything else.
I'm wondering if sending them to research is the only option.
Also, I have heard talk of a spray, I'm
assuming aerosol, that is supposed to look good. It was one of those
tenth hand, no details available kind of stories that I can't confirm
even exists.
Thanks
