I have been asked to mount a 4 ft iguana, as i have never tackled one before can anyone suggest the best way of tackling it . the customer wants a skin mount and not a cast.Thanks in advance Bob.

I remember seeing an article not too long ago about mounting lizards, and I know in Breakthrough issue 51 is an article about freeze drying an iguana. I wouldn't normally recommend freeze-drying for most things but might be the ticket for this.
I suggest you get the Breakthrough Reptile and Amphibian Taxidermy Manual which we and a number of other suppliers carry. You can find it in our on-line catalog at www.hidebak.com. This manual is excellent and will provide most, if not all, of the information you'll need.
