I use laytex caulk with silicone in it ,
works great and cleans up with water.

works for me . Sometimes I even thin it with water to smooth it out and I use the brushes over and over again ,just dunk it in water as soon as you finish using it.

Rich I have used Van Dykes fin finish as well, I currently use ultra-seal which is comparable but thinner. I wash my brush in WARM water and hand soap. I have been using the same brush for the last 30 or so fish. Warm water and soap right after use keeps the brush clean and flexible indefintely.
