Just a quick question on the flesh all mini flesher. It looks to me that the flesh all mini flesher is just a Air Grinder whit a sharp blade instead of a grinding disk on it? Is this true? can i just buy a blade for my grinder?
Thanks Chad
P.S. sorry to bother yall with this type of question it just something i thought of while looking a the mini flesher.

Though the mini-flesher is not one of my favorites, it is a standby for many folks. It does NOT have a sharp blade. The blade is serated. It is the head assembly that makes the tool work. It has a precision tooled spacer and face plate to set the depth of the cut, and I'm pretty sure, it's patented.
All I use is a MiniFlesher. The blade has never went dull. I have broken the shield by overtightening the bolts. To answer you question, No you need to just break down and buy one. If you try to do it with out a depth guide you will tear your hide to shreads. It takes some getting use to, but it works rather well.
yes and no. it is just a cheap grinder with serrated blade, but heres the catch...you spend the extra $125.00 for a guard or guage and unless you know a cheap machinist to make you a guard you have to buy the whole thing the first time, but it will shave a LOT of hides
