This is my first question, but I have spent hours reading the forums.
I appreciate the time you people take to answer our queations.
I just purchased a whitetail shoulder mount from a well known supply
company which was damaged in shipping. The form is broke clean into
across the face, a clean brake half way between the nose and the eye.
I am a pretty easy guy to please, but do I need to send it back or
can it be repaired, maybe glued? I wouldn't mind repairing and save the hassel of reordering, but I don't want it coming apart on me later. Thank you.

You can send it back if you are not on a time schedule. If it were me I would bondo it.
Thin the bondo a little with polyester resin, chip up the break area on both halves, get your screw gun ready with 3 inch drywall screws, mix your hardner and spread well into the halves. and screw them together. time to do this 5 minutes, cost to send it back 1 hour of very valuable time. After bonding it back together, once you hide dries it's not going anywhere.
Fix it with bondo, but also inform the company so it does not happen again. Some may even give you a partial credit for the time taken to fix it.
thanks for the advise.
