i realize one uses peroxide to bleach, or whiten skulls.
small skulls can be easily put in a plastic bag with peroxide and left in the sun for a few days. my queston is ,how does one do this with an elk head? i mean how would you find a bag that big, and how would you seal it? thanks for the help.

PAINT IT ON

Just paint it on andcut a plastic bag and rap it up in it and let sit then keep wetting the skull every hour or so. Until the skull is white then rinse and let dry.If that dosent work try using clareall basic white and 40 vol peroxide and make a past and then paint it on and cover it up. hope this helps ROB

Rubbermaid

Hi Donny,When I bleach out a elk skull I use a small rubbermaid container just a little bit larger than the skull.Any part of the skull that is not submerged in the peroxide wrap with a couple of layers of paper towels .The paper towels wil absorb the peroxide and stay wet.Leave in perx.48 hrs.Use same perox. over and over.Have fun!
