I have shot 2 turkeys on the same property. I wanted to mount the tails but, both birds had a spot on the top of their tail that was flat. Instead of being an almost perfect rainbow, it's more like a trapezoid. Is this common or did I do something wrong? Could it be a genetic trait/defect. Thanks.
