I am looking at purchasing this kit to tan a fox and possiably a lynx. How many pounds would be good to do one of these critters?

Jim,
One lb. of EZ Tan will be enough to tan the 2 animals that you have.
After you've completed your pickling and fleshing, you want to neutrilize the hides, rinse and allow to drip dry for 1 hour. Weigh out the skins in their wet stage.
For every pound of skin,mix 2 quarts of water,4 oz.non-iodinized saltand 1/2 oz. of EZ-100powder (4.5 tea spoons EZ100)
Your ph should be at 4.0 b-4 placing the skins in this solution. Allow to soak for 16-24 hours.Remove the skins and rinse in cold water and oil. Its about that easy.

If you need anymore help, feel free to give me a call at (1-800)843-3320 ext105 or you may e-mail me at this address.

Have a good day....Dave
