im a green horn at this stuff. but i have tanned many deer hides and they turned out very.my question is what to do with the nose on a fox im going to tan. since ive never done a hide with a head on it im in a jam.does the nose just dry up or do i have to do something speacial to preserve it?

After you tan the fox, the nose will shrink, but thats normal. But the main question is what are you going to do with the fox. Is it just for hanging or are you doing a mount with it. Let us know and we can be of better service to you.
