How do you measure the cape. I've seen for sale ads for 19x20 WT capes. How do you get that measurement. I have a 9 point rack that I want to put on a deerhead. Can you help me?

The neck measurement is directly below the ear aprox. 2-3in. Measure around the neck if it is on the hair vs.meat subtract 1 1/2- 2in.In WI. an ave. 2 1/2 year old buck will have a 20-21 in. neck. Everyone measures them just a little bit different.
will be lucky to have a 18" neck, even or old bucks seldom go above 21". They are these southern tier deer, that just don't normally need the bulk for heat in the winter.
