Yes you can. Flesh the cape first, split the lips and flesh aroud the eyes. wash the cape next in cold water with a cup of tide & a cap full of lysol consentrate and a lb of salt to 1 gal of water then rinse.After your rinse let drip dry for a hr or so or spin dry in washer ( if your wife isnt home)tap the cape dry and rub a good amount of cream tan on it. let it set for a couple hr's or so before you start to work on it. the mini flesher really works great on the cape with this method.
