They always have the old books about taxidermy. Why not start right with the new books. Since tools are not that expensive, why not start with the books then order tools from one of the suppliers, $50.00 will get you alot of the small stuff. When I started I used razor blades and a flat piece of steel that I ground one edge down on to make a draw knife, and K-Mart scissors, Borax as a perserative. I made my tools and am still using my home made tumbler. If I can do it so can you! So start looking around the kitchen and go to the library for FREE references. No hand outs here. We all admire your passion but............ We want to make alittle $$$$ to.
