Yes you can put the birds back in the freezer at any time after skinning. All you have to do then is take it out and let it sit in cold water until it thaws. I like tanning my birds with Liqua-tan I have had excellent results with it. Any other questions email.

if you put the cleaned skin in a ziplock freezer bag and fill with water then freeze it and the skin will be fine for a long time.
I have never tried liqua tan on birds myself ,, just clean well and lots of borax..... I wonder about the oils from liqua tan wicking out the feathers...... it may be ok on a dark feathered bird but on a white bellied duck or goose you certainly don't want any discoloration... just my thoughts and I may be way off base ,,,,,,,, they do make liqua-cure for birds ,, I have used that before with good results :)
hope this is of some use to you :)

My bad and I always do it. It is liqua-cure and I love it. The skin is much easier to work with. I used borax in the beginning and since I started with the LIQUA-CURE won't go back.
