a time or two so you dont get enough info. I can give it a try for you
I dont claim to know everything(Shoot most days i dont know anything).
Actually Ive met a number of great people through my site so i like trying to answer your questions the best I can.

I answer questions because I like meeting people and when I was first
learning no one would tell anyone anything. I also give WASCO all the credit for this fantastic sharing of info site they have put together.

Yes I answer questions for free here, so does YOX, GEO, JL, even Belluci once in a while, I see Dennis Behn now too, but how long will it be till you some of you hammer Dennis for not answering a question within minutes of being posted?
NO DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY MANY OLD TIMERS ARE BECOMING REARENDS?
I do becuase many beginners are just to lazy to SEARCH for the answers, don't want to spend a few dollars for the WASCO books. If you don't have the money for the books and videos you want or need, you can't afford this as a hobby.
GO wash cars at the airport, mow lawns, trim trees, fix fence for a farmer, haul hay, etc. for some extra money, to get the books and videos.

The rest cannot be develpoed over phone lines, it will only come through going to shows and entering the competitions.

you know what Ive never tried to sell a workshop in my life.
So you cant get me there. as a matter of fact on any given day
theres locals in my place watching what I do. While I work.
and mounting there own deerheads. If youd like a list let me know.
And especially if there kids ill tell them to bring there stuff in and i show them the correct way to do it>> Im mounting 150-200
deerheads a year from my little western Ny town. at $335 a head.
so i must be doing something right. I never once claimed
to be any more than a good commercial taxidermist.

im just a guy who likes answering questions and you know what 40 percent of the time I may even have the right answer.

Also we all love taxidermy and believe me I pay and have paid my dues. Im no artist i work to put decent quality out there. And while i may not have the "eye" to be exacting that doesnt mean we cant tell
someone the correct way to do something right??
I just drove 500 mile to compete in michigan to have Meder critic
a peice. scored 79 3rd place tons of deerheads there with no ribbons at all.funny only reason I went was so he could tell me that nose was 1/4 inch off and that eyelid was1/8 inch off. are most willing to do just to make there heads better?? so dont talk to me about dedication.

You all sound like a bunch of insecure young adults. Let's see who I can put down today. Obvolusly none of you are getting your work done on time if you have the time to be on here back-lashing each other. What it looks like to me is a taxidermy triangle. The same few people that must need more things to do with their lives. I would think as long as you and your customers are happy that your work must be ok. I thought these forums were to help each other about taxidermy not to criticize each other. I think you all need a seminar on communication and how to get along and stop being jealous of your peers. Come on, lifes to short for all this nonsense. Have you ever heard of Stress, well thats what you're all doing to each other. Start praising each other instead of putting each other down and maybe you'd all have a better picture of yourselves. But what I think happens some times that people are told the wrong information at times. Fetch not to knock you here but I just read and quote you saying that your 40% of the time you might have the right answer. Just saying, does that mean the other 60% your wrong. With a record like that. enough said.
It's good that you offer what you offer but lets try to teach them to be a little correct on how to do taxidermy. Nobody is perfect, not to say that there are more than one way to skin a cat. But it's hard for one to read and (I know this is not you here) where a person was telling someone to use alcohol to tan a bobcat. It's answers like this that get my goat. If a person is not sure of an answer they themself should look it up. As long as you answer them to best of your knowledge ok, that's great. Best of luck to you, sounds like your doing a fine job running your business.

what to be taxidermist, they claim thay called and ask a question and you tried to sell them a workshop.
Now maybe thats not true, but I have been e-mailing with this person for a while. Doing my best to help them out over the phone lines.
Still at this point I dont have any reason to dought that person. I will look into it further through e-mail.
Bu then I would guess to why would someone my just have it in for you.
