Mike,
Is this a whitetail deer? What are the measurements? How was it tanned? These things all make a difference in the advice you need. As far as the eye to nose measurements go that's not to hard to fix. Find one that is pretty close and then do the following, cut off the end of the form just behind the lip line, then either remove the desired amount of foam, or add it. Which ever you need to do to obtain the right measurements. You will have to work with it a little to get the correct shape back. Do some test fits with the cape to check for proper fit. As far as the neck goes you'll be real lucky to get 3" of stretch no matter how it was tanned. 1" is pretty easy and some times a little more. I don't know how may deer you have done so It's hard to know what you need to know. But if it's a mule deer you might be able to use a whitetail form. If it's a whitetail you should try Research Mannikins. I think they have forms down to a 12" neck. If it's smaller than that you might be in trouble.

the eye to nose is ok its 7" but when i first measured the cape it was with the cape still on i have since been told to measure with the cape off from ear to ear laid out to get the neck measurement so when i first measured i got 16" around the neck now that its only 13" i cant find a form that has a 7" nose and a 13" neck the hide was tanned with liguid tan this is my first attempt at taxidermy do you have any suggestions for measuring the next hide and or some different methods for tanning the next hide i will look at the Research Mannikins for a new mount as well thank you
