I use the Lutan F method of tanning. At what point in the process would I use a degreasing agent for greasy-type hides? After the salt? After the pickle? Does anybody have a preference on degreasing products?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Pickle, Shave, Degrease, re-pickle then tan. We use one here in the tannery that's very similar to Knobloch's Super Solve? and it works great.
