I have a small field mouse that i want to mount and include in a habitat scene, but I have NO idea how to mount such a small mouse so that it looks like its life like. Does anyone have any suggestions???

It can be done. You just have to work very carefully, and I think your best bet would be to mount it using a fill method. Your other option would be to get it freeze-dried.your best
Larry is right your best bet would be to freeze dry it.
I read an article in Breakthrough a few years ago about someone doing
a mouse. I hope someone else can remember it also and might know
which issue. The guy doing it froze the mouse in the desired position
and then dipped it in wax until it got really layered. I believe he just
let the mouse rot inside of the wax. After it was all done I think he
injected it with some type of inject-o-cast or something. I could have missed a step
or two so I will look for the issue.
