I keep reading post about Freeze Dried animals. Is this a way to preserve small animals such as Crawfish? How does this work and how do you go about doing this? Thanks.

Please see my web page at rossfreezedry.com for an explination of how freeze drying is done. You can see on my price list page most of the specimens that can be freeze dried and a couple of other avenues freeze drying takes other than taxidermy type specimens. Give it a try and I assure you that you will be pleased or your money back. The one thing that is important to mention and that is the start up costs of freeze drying. The chambers are expensive so the cash outlay is heavy on the front end. Volume is the key here in order to keep the chambers full and still be able to keep prices at a reasonable rate. Personally, I believe in pleasing the customer. I want the return business down the road. I depend on the taxidermists as yourselves to make my business and you can't do that without putting out a specimen that your customer will be proud to present to his/her customer.
Shoot them up in all the joints with it. Then a touch of super glue at all the joints once dry.
NOW PAINT THAT dude! yep they have to be painted! JC
