I will be caping a fisher out tomorrow morning. Due to back injury, it is unlikely that I will be able to skin and flesh it out at one time.
Question: Can I put DP on the hide and refreeze, take out of freezer and flesh it out and reapply DP and freeze until I am ready to mount it?
I have read in the archives but am still not sure if you can freeze and refreeze.
Thanks.

Just freeze the hide without anything on it, skin side out. Then when you thaw, do what you gotta do. Good luck to you.
Actually,
you can do just what you suggest. DP won't hinder freezing or thawing.
it really doesn't matter a whole lot either way.

Im not a DP fan, but Id still consider degreasing it before using the DP when mounting...what do YOU think Dave?
Yep, I'd degrease it first. (with non-flammable epo-degreaser!)
I wasn't trying to eliminate any steps in the process, I was just answering the freeze/thaw question that was asked.

Do I suspect another "Story" there Davvers? COUGH COUGH! EPO MISSION! Any photos or data to report?
