I attended a Seminar on habitats a few years ago. I can't remember when nor where or with whom, they say the minds the first to go. I took notes and suprising I've kept and used most of the information, unfortunately I wrote a side note that reads " A simple base can be made by mixing Elmers glue, water and dirt. Can anyone give me the ratios or a recipe of similar ingrediants, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've used a mixture of dirt, sand , or potting soil mixed in a solution with 25% Elmer's white glue and 75% water. This makes a "paste" that can be spread onto your base. You can also just paint the base with Elmer's glue or Fin Backing Cream and then sprinkle on dirt or sand and repeat until it covers it adequately. Hope this helps.
