Otter incision?

I am doing an otter lying down on a rock. Should I use a ventral incision because it will be hidden or a dorsal incision because it is easier to use?

tom, i'd use the ventral even tho it wont be as easy! if you can hide the stitching well try the dorsal. i'll take a hidden incision every time! just my opinion. good luck,

Cased or ventral

With those short front legs you can go cased, heel to heel, V cut the front legs through the shoulder, slide them in and pull the skinover, or use your belly cut and do more sewing, time wise it's probably a coin toss. Any animal with short or neatly groomed fur like and otter is tough to hide a seam in, so stay away from the dorsal.
