Freezer Damage after a year?

I brought my 22 year old cat to a taxidermist for professional freeze drying in October 1999. (Cat had died in Aug 99) Due to a change in ownership and technical problems with the vacuum pump, the cat has been left frozen and unattended in the machine, without vacuum, for over a year. Of course, without my knowledge! Can any one please advise if this will cause permanent damage to the animal? All information greatly appreciated!

Raven, Assuming the cat was at least bagged in the freezer any "freezer burn" would be minnimal. If you had taken a year to decide to preserve your cat in this way to start with as some people do the job could and can still be done.--Not a big problem.
