what to use to dry

i tumble my ducks in a old clothes dryer. and was wondering what others use to dry there birds for the final drying. I use a hair dryer on hot because the cool setting takes forever. does anyone use a shop vac on blow or do they blow to hard for drying? I belive my birds would look a lot better if i had a better way of drying. thanks for all the help on my last posting it turned out great.

If you are tumbling long enough and with a good media( ground corncob) your ducks shouldn't take 'forever to dry. To start don't use a hair dryer on heat, it will promote bacteria and dry the hide too much, I use a old vaccuum cleaner on reverse or blow and it really gets the job done, I don't really think a shop vac would be too strong and you should try it.

I use kiln dried hardwood saw dust.

then blow it out with my air hose, for final fluffing I use a hair drier on low heat high volume, after the initial mounting. JC
