Do I have to split lips eyes & nose. And thin before sending to get hide tanned.

plus remove the red meat, i.e scrape the inside of the hide. salt for 24 hours, resalt for 24 more, be sure the body fluids can drain, i.e. head up hill on a slanted board. then dry it almost stiff roll it up and ship to the tannery of yur choice. JOHN C
