When they are really nasty, I start out at the local car wash. Clean a spot on the floor, suds them up good and change to rinse to blast the crap out. Don't get too close, can blast the epidermis loose. Spin dry it and get it salted or in the pickel right away. You will never get it ALL out. I try for about 80 per cent, then pick and comb the rest out by hand after you are done tanning and everything is dry.

......Gasoline for 30 minutes then wash with a pressure washer.

Send it to New Method Tanneries in California and let the wash it and tan it...Not feesible f only mountng 1 or 2 but we mount about 200 a year so we send them all off!
