Should anything be applied to the pad area around a deer eye for smoothing it out after it is dry? If so what is best product? Thanks,richard

Been to 6 World Shows, 4 NTA shows, 10 SRTC shows, More State shows than I can count, and Judge a bunch of shows, even been around the world, I have never heard of a eye pad, If you mean the eye area around the eye, this is done by getting that area very, thin while fleshing, then smoothing the clay, and using a good Hide Paste like EPO-GRIP. Then working the eye area while mounting the head.
