Can you skin a coyotes feet like you do a bobacats feet.
I'm doing a full mount howling coyote. My bobcat mount I pulled the skin down to the toes ,to the last joint. In the archives it said to cutt down to the pad and skin around the toes.
Ordered a video today but wanted to get started on skinning this weekend. Have three coyotes to do. Do I have to make this cutt, or can I pull and skin all the way down to the toes, like the bobcat.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Wayne,
the critters in the canine family have bigger feet than legs so most often you have to make that cut.Sometimes you get lucky on the front feet on a fox but you probably won't on a coyote.Hope that helps.
Skinning a coyote is little harder than a bobcat on the feet
but can be done it just takes a little longer take your time
but one thing to remeber is to do what is the easist for you
Always stay close to the bone all the way to the last joint
ofthe toe hope this helps
