Sparky`s up date,I was the one who was shocked by 12000 volts.Im still at the Doc`s once a week, and theres no change.I have got to talk with someone from the state about retraining.Cailf`s idea of retraining is flopping whoppers at Buger King.I found its very hard to get a loan,if your hurt and not working. They want to know how they are going to be payed back, and they also know it may take a few years to start to make money at Taxidemry. Its been very hard to make 45k...and then get hurt and only bring in 10k.We are still making it..but its been hard. But Calif dont think of workers comp as a income, that what make`s it hard for a loan.I just want to let everyone know i hav`nt giving up.Some how some way ..i`ll still get to a school.Just dont know how yet.I have only two things of advice.Never get shocked by 12000 volts. And dont get hurt at work in Cailf....LOL

These offices are not attached with workmans comp or the uneployment office. Many time they are attatched to the agencies that help people with assisted living and getting those with assisted living jobs. I know of a few taxidermist that were able to get additional training thru these. Some offices just refuse to help others are more than greatfull to help. Most time you must have a disablity that keep you from being gainfully employed. "BURGER KING is not considered gailfull employement, unless you are in training for a manager position.

Ken's right, there may be an "in" for a loan that way. I checked into a small business loan awhile back. And, government assistance (free money). If you're disabled, handicapped, female or a minority you've got a chance. If you're a male caucasian, you're S.O.L....
