Look at your reference closely, alingcod eye looks just like a largemouth bass eye-only larger!
So does a china rockfish; make sure you measure the eyes when you get a specimen to mount,
you can order LM Bass eyes up to 26 or 28mm ; I've actually seen them in catalogs up 32mm.
Some rockfish can use a SM Bass eye if you get the right size.
Sometimes you have to call Tohickon and special order; or learn to paint your own on blanks.
Work the best for me. Ling cod are a little bug-eyed, and haveing an eye that is a little more 3-D efect looks the best. The bass color is good, also.Research Mannikins, 800-826-0654, has them.
