Question on shipping

I was wondering how some of you shipped large mounts and how expensive it is. I mean like large elk mounts and such. Larger than the usps and ups maximum. Thanks, Bob.

Truck

I'm shipping an elk mount this week. I call Mail boxes Etc. and find one who will take it. They have crated it in the past. This time I crated it myself. Charged the customer $100 for the crate. Mail Boxes Etc, contracts with what ever trucking company they can to move the crate. Last one went by Yellow Freight. Dont know who will be taking this one. Once I leave it with them, it is their responsibility. It is insured through the trucking company. Cost depends on the size and the weight. Try and keep the crate as light as possible, but secure enough to hold the mount. It's not fun, but just part of the job I guess. If you need further information, e-mail me.
