Where can I find a good video on fleshing black bear and how to get the hide ready? It's my first time working with a bear. Taxidermy is a hobby. The bear is my own. If anyone has any written text on it that would help also.I would appreciate all help.

Hi Jim,
I have fleshed hundreds of bears, Quebec is bear country. It's so
well insulated that each has his perticular problem and demands
perticular attention. It would be to long for me to explain every
trick of the trade in this forum but in brief, if he has a funny
smell, the fat has to come off QUICK. If the hair is starting to slip,
mix aluminate sulfate (alum) in boiling water, when cooled apply to
skin and then salt.
Normaly I salt for a day, flesh on the fleshing machine, salt again.
After a few days, I put it in the pickle or send it to the tannery.
