I think this is the answer. For skinning ears start by pulling the ear butt and take a scalpel and carefully cut the membrane that holds the skin to the cartlidge. Go about half way in the ear. After that I take the back of my scalpel handle ( remove the blade first) and use it like a scraping tool. Press the handle against the cartlidge and push it foward against the skin.It will seperate the skin from the cartlidge. Take your time so you don't force the handle through the skin. Work it out all the way to the edges. As far as your second question first i split the pad open down to the dew claw,then hang the leg bone by a rope and slowly skin it using a scalpel all the way down to the toenails. It works take your time. After I'm done skinning flesh the pad with a scalpel blade. I hopedthis helped. If you don't fully understand email me. Mike
