I have a quick question for a beginner. On a cape that I purchased the inner ear has been cut off the ear what can I do to fix this?

Probably wont be the last one you see, or "not" see

I just finished ten African heads and 8 of them had the ear cut short. What I did is to use a earlinner, with "good" glue (dont want to get into that at this time). After things dry, use an epoxy putty of your choice and rebuild them. Spray a little water on the hair before you start so it will clean up easy and you may want to tint the putty some. Dont forget to "texture" the surface before it sets or it will shine when you paint it. I lay a wet paper towel on mine and gently press into the surface, when it is close to setting. You may want to pose the hears back so its not so noticable. Good luck!

No Problem

I almost always do this to my ears and either use liners with detail or rebuild it myself. I just don't like the drying time and shrinkage involved in leaving the cartilage in.
