I have 3 elk legs would like to make a lamp.Would like to know how they should be skin and also how to take care of the hoof.Is their a book out telling how.
Skin on the back side from the joint to the toes, Cut the bottom of the pad out just leaving the toe nails on the skin. Rebuild the pad with apoxy sculpt or apoxy clay. By doing so it will reduce future bug problems.
