"Seamless" mounting?

Submitted by Tim on 3/10/01. ( ) 64.12.97.9

How do you mount a cape that has been tube skinned? Do you have to put the cape on attach the antlers then set the eyes and do all the other fill work and then "taxi" the skin? Seems like you wouldn't have enough time to do it all at once? Is there another way?

Apply hide paste to neck and brisket area and slip cape over head thru the tube cut leaving face exposed.
Then attach antlers model the eyes then apply paste to the face and then apply the skin and taxi it into position then tuck the eyes, lips and nose. Set the ears and stitch your seam.
