I have a guy who has offered to let me practice my first tukey mount on his turkey and buy the goods needed to mount it (full strut). I have looked all over for a beginners kit, but no luck. I am missing something. Is there a kit, or what do I need to purchase individually to mount this turkey? Obviously I am a beginner and would like to make it as simple as possible even using fake neck and feet if this is easier.
I am very excited about mounting my first turkey and any help you can give as to a kit or components is GREATLY appreciated.

Check Buckeye manikins. They have a great system for doing full strut birds. It come complete with instructions on how to mount it on the form. The question becomes are you going to use the real head or not. If your planing to use the real one I would say send it out.
Buckeye has the best artifical heads for turkeys.
The next thing is to get good reference and a book or a video on mounting one.
Do yourself a favor and purchase a video on mounting turkey. There are so many things you need to do to make it right. Removing the bone marrow and where to properly clip the bone are just a couple of things. The videos also offer tips and short cuts.
I hope ths is your first turkey and not your first bird.
If this is your first bird, I would freeze it and get a pheasant then a duck under your belt first. The procedures are similar. A strutting turkey as your first bird is pretty ambitious. They can be frustrating and labor intensive.
Good luck,
Chip
