Whats the difference?

Whats the difference between Airbrush watercolors and Acrylic paints from suppliers and the ones from art stores? What about waterbased acrylics in hobby stores? Im curious if the basic colors could be used for taxidermy purposes or will you get what you pay for and get a cheap paint job. Thanks and sorry for the ignorance on the subject.

Dan you can use whatever medium you want. Reference is the key. The water based paints from the supply companies are thinned to flow through an airbrush most the time. The waterbased paints from arts and craft or hobby stores might not be. Use the treasure gold wax,s silver and gold and rub and buff in a tube will enhance your fish work. If you use paints from other than suppliers you will have to thinto flow through the airbrush. Could be frustrating, but try different paints. I would reccommend a particular paint from a supplier they have already done the homework and the price is comparable but don,t limit your yourself. Hope this helps.

Thanks
