Does anyone know if Arkansas requires a license or certification for taxidermy? I am an apprentice for a taxidermist in Texas and I know that you do not need anything there unless you are doing birds.

The Arkansas Taxidermist Assoc. has a certification program, this certifcation program does not do much at this time. Great possiblities though. Earn certification points by entering in Arkansas show, Southern Regional, Nationals and the World show. Five points per catagory must be earned, and really by the time you have earned them you work will have improved quite a bit! Contact Doyle Wilson in WYnne, Ark. he is the President.
