Oh, I forgot to ask, Do you still have to use a DP when cream tanning?
Before you salt you can shave the hide, or after a day of salting it sometimes is easier to shave it then. It becomes a personal choice if you not pickling the hide.
As for DP on a cream tanned hide? Nope, you will defeat the purpose of tanning.
