non- iodized salt?

I reciently got a Lutan-F tanning kit from Cabelas along with a beginners squirrel tanning kit. In the instructions it says to use non-iodized salt to put on the hide. Would it hurt if I used iodized salt because that is what I already have, or should i really get the non-iodized stuff?
thanks for the help

Either one will work!

Both work. The only reason non-iodized salt is preferred, is because it's cheaper in large quantities. Even iodized salt only contains a minute quantity of iodine. Its added to prevent goiter problems in humans! It definately shouldnt cause any tanning problems.
