i have two qustions the fist one is the measurment i got off my deer was 6 1\4 but the form that i ordered was 6 3\4 how do i go about shorting the face. the second qustion is the form igot is a 18 inch neck with med-swell and the chest area looks so much biger than my hide i have not tryed to put it on yet but it realy looks alot bigeri used jrts cream and i have it realy thin i aso done the long incesion down the back. thanks for any help.

If not just remove 3/8" behind the lip line. Dont fret the fit until you have tried it on for size. Absolutly no need to sweat it until you are ready to mount, if the cape comes up short then remove one to two inches from the neck in one or two areas. I.E slice thru and remove then bondo back togather.
Sounds like you need a smaller form which are available by some suppliers.You can shorten the face up to 1/2 inch but its a lot more work altering the body form smaller.
Chris, I have shortened as well as lengthened deer forms. I agree whith Len, and would not cut off more than 1/2 inch or so. It can be very difficult to get everything to match up, but it's worth a try. I think adding is sometimes easier. If you don't feel comfortable with this just purchase another form. Always better safe than sorry.
