Beginner bird feet

I,m a beginner in bird taxidermy. When reading the Breakthrough bird taxidermy manual I saw the bird feet injection solution. Now I know that formaldehyde is the best. Now another solution i.e 20% alcohol 80% glycerin was mentioned. My question is how strong the alcohol part of the solution (in % ) it should be? Thanks in advance for you help and feedback

I'm not familiar with the solution your refering to,but since all the health hazards linked to formaldehyde, I've started using a product called Preservz-it. Rittel's manufactures and sells it, and I've found many other uses for it also. Mix it 50/50 with glycerin, it works well. It comes with a pamphlet on all it's usages. I highly recommend you give it a try. Marc R
