i just bought an old dryer and want to convert it for tumbling.i got the instructions from rhinehearts to convert it but the instructions i got are for a gas dryer this one is electric. i want to try to change from 110 to 220 volts, any advice would be appreciated. p.s. i checked the archives on this one which advised this could be done but i would like to get some pointers on how to do it. i have basic electrical knowledge.thanks.

I'm no sparky either but I do know the 220 is split inside .one 110 is for the heating element ,the other is for the fan and turning the drum.Check your customers too,one may be an electrician.
