Bird Feet Injection Fluids

Submitted by Ken Rush on 7/21/01. ( rushwiz@aol.com ) 152.163.188.166

I have seen two different bird feet injection fluids. Perma-Plump and
Knoblochs. Wanted to ensure my bird feet are both preserved and plumped out to prevent shrinkage. Any recommendations on which one would cover both requirements? Thanks much

One more to add to your list! Try our Rittels Preservz-It mixed 10% Preservz-It to 90% White Glue. After injecting, place a pin in the injection hole, and leave it until it sets. After setting, remove the pin, and sometimes the hole can be pressed closed. It works!

Thanks for the info Bruce... I tried gylcerine and alcohol (from archives), and could not get the mix through my needle! Where do I find the preservitive product (who carries this)? Thnaks and I'll give it a try, cause I got a whole gallon of Elmers glue sitting in my hobby room! Ken
