I recently read a reference to the unwanted conditions of "drumming or bridging." I know what "drumming" means but I don't know what the term "bridging" means. Could someone please enlighten me.

Same meaning as drumming. Shrinkage and tightening of the skin has caused the skin to lift up from the detailed areas of the form. Usually being over indentations, the tightened skin will form little bridges over the dividing cuts in the form that you can drum on.
