Does anyone have suggestions on getting the slime off of the fish. Tried slime away, followed directions, but still had slime on it when I went to skin it out. Any ideas.

Freeze the fish. When defrosted, just hose it off. The slime washes away. Also be sure to hose inside the mouth and gills.
Slime can be removed by washing in alum solution or a 50/50 household ammonia and water it you don't care to freeze the fish.
1/2 cup in 3 gallons of water thaw the fish in it and it kill the slime even in northern pike and muskies.
I have borax in a shaker bottle. Just sprinkle it on, let it set a few minutes,
rinse and skin.
Works for me
Now look who is using those big words......lol......
alum=aluminum sulphate
Now I'm gonna haf to git a dictionary to talk wid yew...ROFLMAO
Try good old vinegar. Works for me. Also you may want to consider leaving the slime on till you are done. It is a great help in assuring you do not pop out any scales on the fish while skinning and fleshing. If it is tough to hold on to. just dip you hands in a little borax to get a good grip

just rub it off under running water with your hand. It's not that hard or that scientific. Besides, you should rub the fish to help restore the color back into the skin when it's thawed.
